When injecting neuromodulators like Dysport or Botox, it’s not just about smoothing fine lines—it’s about understanding facial anatomy and how all the muscles work together as a unit.

🔹 The Platysmal Bands: These vertical muscles in the neck extend up to the lower face, pulling down on the jawline and contributing to jowls. When relaxed, we reduce that downward pull, allowing the jawline to appear more defined and lifted.
🔹 The DAO (Depressor Anguli Oris) Muscles: Located at the corners of the mouth, these muscles pull the mouth downward, creating a sad or tired expression. Softening them helps the mouth corners appear more lifted and youthful 😊.
